Provides HR management for the corporate office and support and guidance for HR at plant facilities ensuring Reser’s is an “Employer of Choice”
Lead, supports and develops a team of HR staff at the corporate office.
Advise leadership on managing non-routine situations in addition to providing guidance on HR program, policies and practices.
Provide support and guidance for plant HR staff, managing escalation situations as needed.
Ensure HR practices are in compliance with programs, policies and procedures and making recommendations to revise practices as needed.
Oversee compliance with employment related law and regulations as needed.
Use workforce data to analyze trends, identify opportunities and make appropriate recommendations.
Manage leadership training program content and initiatives to support developing leadership capabilities.
Direct corporate team recruiting and retention programs, supporting proactive and positive employee engagement.
Partners with risk management to support worker’s compensation management and workplace safety programs and requirements
Works with plant HR team on managing claims and high risk situations.
Regular attendance and punctuality is required.
Requires 5-10 years Human Resources experience; at least 2 years in a people leadership role.
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or a related field is required.
Must have excellent PC skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and HRIS experience.
Kronos and UltiPro experience is preferred.
Must demonstrate knowledge in all federal, state and local employment laws and procedures.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Prior compensation management experience preferred.
Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills.
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
PHR certification is preferred.
English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
