    Overview

    Under moderate supervision, provides item cost information for retail pricing of finished goods.

    Responsibilities

    1. Provides costing for raw materials in all company formulations.
    2. Interfaces with Regional Economic Development, purchasing department, and plant personnel regarding costing issues.
    3. Analyzes inventory variances and assists in variance resolution.
    4. Analyzes year-end costing standards.
    5. Assists management in costing new product lines or customer proposals.
    6. Prepares month-end capacity and mix reports for formula packets.

    Qualifications

    1. Requires 5-8 years of account experience.  Minimum 3 years of costing experience.
    2. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is preferred.
    3. Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
