    General Summary

    Assists in conducting product quality audits and ensures food products are within food safety parameter.


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Conducts standardized tests on food products to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
    2. Audits documentation of food test results.
    3. Verifies equipment calibration and makes the necessary adjustments.
    4. Prepares and conducts product cuttings.
    5. Tracks non-conforming product and their dispositions.
    6. Acts as a liaison with floor personnel about frequent changes of product specifications.
    7. Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment before and after use.


    Job Specifications

    1. 2 years Quality Assurance experience is required.
    2. Requires knowledge of food and safety regulations.
    3. Basic PC skills are required.

    2. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F.
    3. Frequent exposure to hazardous materials.
